Luvvies, wokes and cancel have taken over - and human rights laws prevents anything being done about it. Maybe become a solicitor and make money out of it.

They will keep coming and the lawyers will keep getting fat/ter off theirs and our backs.

This is what this country is up against,  when you have clowns like this making money , representing  these  chanel  crosses.

These laws need changing very soon , to be able to turn them around before they land on these shores

Yep, lots of people getting very rich, gelded from within?

We can argue about this situation for months and nothing will change, what this country lacks is Balls - this would not have happened 100 years ago so why is it happening now? Nobody in power is ever willing to stand up and do anything.

Possibly brought about by us being led by Major into closer political union without giving a fig or reading the  small print? He was at he time under the influence of  a very spicy curry? Well rewarded for his actions too?

It really is simple, drop them straight back on to a French beach, the problem would stop over night.

How? First you have to pick them up. They jump in scream and shout and won't go willingly. Immediate bad press at international level. You drive to French waters and cannot enter without approval. Then what.

Ignore the bad press, the vast majority of people will understand it and it would put pressure on the french to do the same and so on, instantly stopping the smuggling lines.

As for France we're returning people to their shores ignore them, what are they going to do, declare war?

I have a cunning plan:hmm:…..we send boats out to pick them up, do a figure of eight, then head for a suitable beach in France, tell them its England and set them off in their dinghies...simples.

VERY difficult: Either carry on sucking it up, give France a major reason to oblige because I suspect they are doing it for some part of Brexit teetering leverage, like possibly fishing rights or the Irish border issue, or leave the ECHR and don't respond to dingy distress calls outside of our 3 mile zone perhaps.

I suspect we're going to have to trade off one or two red lines - on the quiet no doubt.

So what would you all do about it? What's you proposal? Think it through.

Navy out on the almost central line publicised  live fire exercise in preparation for the possible Russian invasion

obviously warning legitimate  shipping

Any dingy approaching the aren of war games  ordered to leave the area and return to the port of departure

plenty of spare boats in Dover should any be accidentally damaged chuck one over for them to make the return journey in

as far as accommodation goes there is a bunker/air raid shelter in London that can accommodate 20.000 people that’s a good start

The French avoid 'bringing them into our waters' - they escort them to the border area.

Yes I know that, but if the RNLI keep away from them they would have to find their own way and that would be a different ball game! The RNLI was set to protect those in peril , Not to drag the dross of eastern Europe and northern Africa  across the  Chanel ,to where they will cost the UK millions a day !

If we are serious, we are going to have to accept the "Immediate bad press at international level."

We should welcome it, let it be known we have had enough,  France is a far larger country,  if they are coming from France then put them back there, they shouldn't touch land on our side of the channel.

Agreed, all it needs is to stop escorts and rescues of dinghies outside each countries 3 mile zones.

Just looked at some figures and its gone from 6k 2019/20 to 35k so far this year 2022, and thats just the ones coming here by boat, the infrastructure in the UK cannot handle this number.

Global warming will make these numbers look like a trickle.
