VERY difficult: Either carry on sucking it up, give France a major reason to oblige because I suspect they are doing it for some part of Brexit teetering leverage, like possibly fishing rights or the Irish border issue, or leave the ECHR and don't respond to dingy distress calls outside of our 3 mile zone perhaps. Just looked at some figures and its gone from 6k 2019/20 to 35k so far this year 2022, and thats just the ones coming here by boat, the infrastructure in the UK cannot handle this number.
