I just heard on the news he's still going to speak his mind so will the beeb sack him, ??

I have made a complaint to the BBC (as I also have in the past about Packham and biased personal opinions).  Whilst I cannot claim it will make any difference ........ a direct complaint to the organisation which pays him £1.36 Million a year (incidentally I think the highest paid person in then BBC) of out license money may, if there are enough complaints prompt the Director General into some action.  The DG has said he expects BBC 'personalities' to follow the BBC charter requirement of being impartial in their public opinions.  That includes non BBC public statements.

The 'defence' the BBC used about Packham was that he was not "a BBC employee".  I don't believe the same is true for Lineker.

Nor am I.

I have no interest in hearing his political views, and personally have no interest in football.  My interest is in the public broadcaster to whom I am expected to pay a subscription (in order to receive any of their services) complies with it's charter and that means being impartial.  It also implies that those who 'represent' the BBC uphold the impartial stance.  I don't care what views they may hold in private, but these are not 'private' people.  The job they have and for which they are VERY highly paid is a public job - and carries the responsibility of compliance with the organisations charter.

This is the point and its concerning. Imagine someone in his position was pushing for the opposite, that the government needs to get a grip and start deporting all these illegal immigrants, they're feet wouldn't touch the ground.

The BBC is anything but impartial.
