Flyboy1950
As ex Andrew I can`t remember when l have been so embarrassed as in recent months, our ships and subs have let us down. 2nd time Trident has failed us, they obviously didn`t want to try for another launch at a cost of £M17 a pop, possibly to save more embarrassment. Our new aircraft carrier couldn`t navigate beyond the isle of wight and had to be towed back for more major repairs, cost £B3 and counting plus a mine hunter backing into another, taking both ships out of commission. Thank G-d our men are made of sterner stuff in spite of our politicians. FB

clangerman
rest assured anyone who’s a threat knew within secs of launch our gov clowns have wasted millions of tax payers money on faulty junk yet again so let’s not give them an excuse to cover up their next failure from those paying for it

There;s just been a nuclear strike and the Home Office is advising to turn your water heating off as leaving it on could be dangerous. My brother when he joined the police back in 1970 something was given similar to bring home with him.

GingerCat
For years mum had a cupboard with stuff in it in such circumstances. When we moved in about 95 if I remember, we found an old tin of chocolate cake. About 20 years out of date. I ate it, it was factory fresh.
