welsh1
What a horrible thing MND is, it ravaged him in such a short time, my hat goes off to the man for the way he dealt with it , and my condolances to his wife who was by his side every step. Zoli 12 guage
he's from the next village to me and locally there's been loads done to help Rob and his charity. it doesn't help what's happened and there's nothing that can be said to help his family through this devastating time. RIP
Pushandpull
It has to remind one of the great South African RU player Joost van der Westhuizen who went so untimely with MND. It is a horrible disease for anyone but to see men of such talent and physicality taken before their time is dreadful.
JohnfromUK
Brave man, and highly respected by all for the way he fought such a horrible disease which seems to be coming more common. I know someone who has it, and it is simply devastating - especially at a family level.

It always does, 3-5 years, is the usual time frame. Knew a lovely woman in her 30's that wasn't taken by this.
7daysinaweek
Very sad indeed. A truely horrible disease, I have seen it first hand. Affects around 1 in 300 and there are several different forms which all come under the collective umbrella of MND.

My thoughts as well, Lad in work brought it up this morning in a light hearted way and I just had to tell him to go away. Watch Wembley this Saturday, he'll get an epic send off 😪 I'm an emotionless stone most of the time but not with this .

Remains to be seen if it will hit the current generation... It always hits me when I hear about someone contracting MND - I know what's in store for them.
