Just seen this on the news ,brave man . One of those bloody horrible diseases that split my thoughts between sadness for his beautiful family and friends loss and the fact that his suffering and torment is over . R.I.P. Rob .

What a horrible thing MND is, it ravaged him in such a short time, my hat goes off to the man for the way he dealt with it , and my condolances to his wife who was by his side every step.

It has to remind one of the great South African RU player Joost van der Westhuizen who went so untimely with MND. It is a horrible disease for anyone but to see men  of such talent and physicality taken before their time is dreadful.

Brave man, and highly respected by all for the way he fought such a horrible disease which seems to be coming more common.

I know someone who has it, and it is simply devastating - especially at a family level.

It always does, 3-5 years, is the usual time frame.

Knew a lovely woman in her 30's that wasn't taken by this.

My thoughts as well, Lad in work brought it up this morning in a light hearted way and I just had to tell him to go away.

Watch Wembley this Saturday,  he'll get an epic send off 😪 I'm an emotionless stone most of the time but not with this .

Tell me about it, my father, grandfather and an aunt all died of MND.
Remains to be seen if it will hit the current generation...
It always hits me when I hear about someone contracting MND - I know what's in store for them.
