JDog
Whilst not yet in the season of mellow fruitfulness some hedgerow plants are producing their goods. This abandoned set of farm buildings has been inhabited by barn owls and colonised by brambles. We have been picking for a week now. Blackberry crumble is my favourite but porridge and blackberries comes a close second.

JohnfromUK
After 2 very plentiful years, I think we are going to have fewer this year. Very few ripe to be seen yet. Late August onwards is usually our peak time.
Mice!
I'll bet nobody can top this, I was picking them in a blow up kayak on the Thames last week from the far bank, I only picked a few but we all agreed they were very nice, my daughter went straight out and got some more 😁

Dave at kelton
They are not quite ready here yet but it’s looking promising. I love blackberry and apple crumble. I also put a litre of bramble whisky on each year to share on shoot days.

I remember going to a friend's and being offered jam for tea and wondering what this strange, overly sweet, strawberry jam stuff was. I add about 8 oz of sugar at the start to a couple of pounds of blackberries. If it needs more it can be added at the end! I have never touched whiskey from that day since and in fact for the last several year I very rarely touch any alcohol at all .
