cuffy
The incessant whine of a scouser in full flow...it's like fingernails on a blackboard. The Northern Irish accent comes in close behind. The worst however has got to be MLE (multi cultural London English)...innit. These

Hamster
I find the various home accents quite endearing myself, none irritating anyways and quite surprised every other reply hasn't mentioned the nasal American accent especially when spoken by a woman. NickS
Any accent employed by a politician trying to convince us that they are in touch with the people.
norfolk dumpling
Essex, followed by Brummie. Although when actors try a Norfolk accent this sounds like West Country with a smattering of incest!

mel b3
Im really not a fan of scouse and brummie accents, scousers always sound like they're about to nick my wallet and brummies sound thick. Im from the black country, to most people i sound like a brummie.
JDog
The Ayrshire accent takes some beating. Can anyone remember Jimmy Knapp? Edited September 7, 2015 by JDog
sportsbob
Like mel b3 said most people think the yam yam accent is brummie so by observation of this thread yam yam and scouse seem to be top answers . For me I don't give a dam what your accent is but the artificial accent the chavs use makes me cringe , ya no wot I mean bruv init .

ferguson_tom
Scouse, especially women. My uncle is married to a rather nice lady from Liverpool but i cant stand to be around her for more than a couple of hours as its drives me mad. Over enthusiastic Americans. This weird country bumpkin, Norfolk, Somerset, Devon, Farmer type of accent my brother does when around our friends who are proper farm boys. The camp voice drives me mad for same reason my brothers country bumpkin one does, it seems very forced and to prove a point. ******, not because it annoys me as such just cause cant stand them. Thats about it for the moment. I think i should go on that program Grumpy Old Men.
