most people have made their mind up now..............i just think the more sweeping statements the cons come out with ..the worse it gets........then there is that rubbish Sir vince incaperble comes out with...............he seems to forget ..they want us more than we want them...so the frenchies will be really piling the pressure on to sort a good deal and quick....................as for the NFU...they have nailed their colours to the mast ...and traditionally the farm "labourers"...(cause thats how some folk still see them) will vote the exact opposite of the "gaffa"

its only just started....in another month they will be saying we wont be able to go to the moon for our holidays if we choose to leave the EU.............dont forget that the majority of "inners" have never ever had another job other than in an EU UK environment..........so as usual they are continuing to think of themselves and not serving the best interests of the electorate...........

Scare tactics and nothing more, if we had never been tied to Europe we would all be a lot better off. I'm sure stopping immigration imposed by Europe and sending loads of them back will save a fortune. Unburden the NHS and Benefits system, free up social housing.

Stop loads of migrant workers that we have no control over due to European legislation.

I want out.

I think Osborne has shot himself in the foot with that statement. Its clearly tosh and it has made him look like he's getting a bit rattled. Not a good look for a politician

Is it just me or it this starting to look more and more like an episode of Yes Minister?

Or, it could be true... It's going to come down to a generational thing I think, those reminiscing about the good old days (before THEY voted us IN) and those looking ahead.

In looking to the future and the changing global landscape I will be voting in, otherwise risk becoming the global equivalent of the Isle of Wight..

Very nice place the Isle of Wight although you could have said jersey or the Isle of Man both prosperous with lower taxes and duty

So your happy to vote for this the most corrupt entity £55million a day and no accounts

I can only guess your that your a MEP

Just my thoughts

All the best

My biggest worry is having Mr. Bean as Prime Minister if there is a Leave vote and Dodgy Dave resigns.

He wont resign we wont drop out, a lot of money has been thrown around the media to keep us in.

The British public are like lost sheep today, and they will do just what they are told to do and that is to stay in.

I want out i realy do but sadly it wont happen.

Yes, the word global is bandied about rather a lot in this debate.

So who are the global powers?

Well if we're talking security I'd say Russia, China and NATO. The EU nations are members of, and rely on the combined power of NATO. The EU as an entity is pretty weak without the military might of the US. If we were to leave the EU we would still be a major partner in NATO. Our security has nothing to do with the EU, if anything it's compromised by our membership.

If we're talking about trade, the big players are the US, China, India, Russia, Japan and Brazil. None of whom feel the need to be tied into a political union in order to be able to trade with their partners or across the globe.

When we voted to stay in the EEC, as it was then, we were lied to. The British public were led to believe they were voting to stay in a free trade association, the politicians knew the truth and kept it from the public. Every PM since has wilfully lied and deceived the British people.

By all means vote to stay in if that's what you think is best, but don't kid yourself about the repercussions.

The EU isn't about trade or security, it's about power. It always has been and always will be.

The £4k is the reduction in GDP for each household not how much comes out of your back pocket. Given average wage is £27 k (?) ish this figure would be a disaster but of course don't believe a word the papers say - they just want your money. On very late night tv (Skynews?) the true figure, even if the £4k GDPdrop was accurate, might only be hundreds and that was a worst case scenario. This to be is very dishonest as Mr Average if afraid only relates to pennies in his pocket and stuff such as GDP etc is meaningless.

I am hopeful that the alternative viewpoint from the many parts of the leave campaign will get its combined act together and come out fighting in the next couple of weeks.

And me, just hope they haven't been infiltrated as there doesn't seem to be a lot happening.

If we stay in we will be the European equivalent of the Isle of Wight. No longer a country, lucky to be a county.

This is just as scare-mongery as anything Osborne has said.

I hear a mix of views from those I speak to; some farmers I know are firmly in as are some elderly relatives, which was a surprise to me, but equally there are a good number of outs from a whole range of people. Osborne's comments are unlikely to sway many people though as they are too exaggerated to be believable.
