aga man
The only few i shoot throughout the year either go on the muck heap or on a bonfire.
steve_b_wales
Nature will break them down if left in hedges etc. It's surprising how quick it takes. I make sure that I leave them out of sight though.

Vince Green
Our local council dump used to take 'dead pets' and dispose of them for you. Leave them beside the road and everyone thinks they are road kill.

Benthejockey
Elvis I'll eat pretty much anything but I'd draw the line at eating badger! Although they call them pigs I think it's more because the noise they make than their porky taste!

Although they call them pigs I think it's more because the noise they make than their porky taste! One of our local "characters" will eat anything and everything, he was caught with a badger in his car he claimed was roadkill and said he was just going to eat it, ended up in court accused of catching, was pretty much thrown out as couldn't prove anything, the judge asked him what they tasted like and the plonker said not at all like swan, more like otter.......... spandit
Hope the foxes and corvids soon discover the carrion I've dumped recently from a deer I shot - think there was a crow on it this morning. Just as long as it's out the reach of the dogs I don't mind.
WelshMike
Try and find a rough spot out of sight of people and chuck the dead fox in there. During winter they take a long time to decompose. Always be wary of leaving them close to where the general public will find them....I upset the local bus driver when I left one at the end of my mates drive forgetting that was where the kids got picked up from..the kids werent bothered On 1 farm I shoot I leave the fox where it was shot and let the farmer know and he goes and gets it and puts it in the dead box. Tford
I throw them into the undergrowth away from footpaths and roads, out of sight out of mind. There's always somewhere out the way they'll never be noticed on my permissions. If they are noticed by the farmer (happened a few times) all the better, at least he knows that they're being shot. saddler
Local zoo as leopard food? Leave at local Green Party campaign office. On the roadside after reporting an injured fox to the RSPCA. Just bury or leave where shot? I used to drop mine for the farmer to check over so he knew I'd got a few & it allowed him to identify which ones that he was seeing were now out of the equation
Red-dot
I left six near to the incinerator on my favourite farm and a passing by bobbly hat called the police and the WCO got involved as the local gypsy boys are active with the long dogs. The farmer phoned me and i got an apology and a good chat off the WCO. I now just wheech them...

Dougy
I have no idea what happens to the one's I shoot. There not my property, they belong to the landowners or land manager, so I leave them in a designated place. Mind you if I have to walk 1/2 a mile to pick it up it stays where It dropped.
