It was great in Essex, the kids were in the garden by about 9am, in and out all morning, a few of us went around to the older people in the street and made sure they were ok. In the afternoon most of the families in the street went to the local park on sledges and had a massive snowball fight. We got home about 4pm with two very cold, tired, happy children, it was a great community spirited day.

Mice!
Drove my mum up to Manchester today, without any snow the M60 was horrendous could barely see any lines on the road it was like whacky races, hate to think what snow would have done, but saw gritters out on the way home. Scully
Drove six hours to site at Aberdeen this morning. Quite a bit of snow in the sticks but the worst thing is the cold. Bitter.
