novice cushie shooter
I would have loved to have seen tai woffinden win. His speedway wins this yer have been phenomenal. Still dont grudge GT a win.
Dr D
It should be Jonathan Rea. But it won't be.
Yellow Bear
As far as I can tell - not one of them has an iota of "personality" anyway.

12gauge82
Should be Tyson Fury, but he wouldn't of had a look in even if nominated.
redial
There was a few quids worth of BBC presenters wheeled out for the occasion. When Claire Balding appears I tend to change channel.
big bad lindz
Doddie Weir imo should have been there, not only a great rugby player for club, country & Lions but a man with a great personality and now unfortunately this life ending illness
Mice!
Well the BBC has had some stick and deservedly so, Fury never got a look in, apparently all decided three weeks before his fight and Claire Boring apparently talked over Billy Monger when he paused thanking the people who saved him. So usual BBC
walshie
Winning the Tour de France is a fair old achievement. Well done Geraint. Makes a nice change from the usual suspects IMO. Not sure what the fuss is about Fury, as he hasn't actually won a title yet. I'd have voted for O'Sullivan if he was nominated. Vince Green
Hamilton gets paid about £1.25 million pounds a race and there is very little 'sport' in F1 these days. As for personality???? Hamilton???? A welsh boy from Cardiff, who made good against incredible odds and at great personal expense and sacrifice in the early years, who trained every day in all weathers regardless gets my vote. He seemed very humble Edited December 17, 2018 by Vince Green
Scully
Money nor personality are prerequisites for the award; it’s given for achievement in their chosen discipline. I think anyone of those nominated would be classed as worthy in my opinion.
krugerandsmith
The person who should win this award is .... George Digweed. 26 times world Clay Pigeon Champion.
