They should make sure Dominic Cummings pays his fine first...

My cousin died of CV-19, she has left two daughters. So I’m not flippant but I think vilifying the young and naive whilst those in power can do as they please is ridiculous.

fair point..........

Good point, what about that snp idiot who tested positive and then travelled from London to Scotland on public transport, these people make the laws that others are forced to abide by then blatantly break the law, it beggars belief

My condolences - however at the time it was not law, he removed himself from London in a closed car straight to his home in the north east, granted against GUIDENCE, to remove his family from the GUIDENCE ignoring press corp, like a crown of ravening hyenas, camped outside his London home.  Perhaps if this crowd were fined I may agree with you.

I notice you are ignoring the SNP MP who actually broke the law to a far greater degree to Cummings disregard of guidance.  I do not see any sign of her being fined.

You may dislike the man, I have no high regard for him myself, but you should compare apples with apples , not Bananas.

If you want to go this far you had better include all the MPs losing their seats who have quietly been forgotten starting with Kinnock junior who was the first caught (delivering a birthday cake) right the way up to Corbyn and his dinner party last week or so.

excellent idea only a 100 we have over 400 in just one uni and growing by the day dummings lies are even more insulting now with the amount of people dying he’s probably still laughing at those who believed him

I agree they should all be fined, but then it's always been don't do as I do , do as I say 🤔

100% one rule.....

plus the students have already paid £9000 for rip off education that this governments influence on society has dictated they need.

I have commented on her in other threads being as bad as Cummings, I would have name checked her here but couldn’t recall her name. I also called for Kinnock to be expelled and fined in previous threads. So to assume I have an agenda is way, way off the mark.

We can argue about the semantics of Cummings breaking the rules all day, however what he did undermined public confidence and adherence to any rules and so he has personally put 100,000s if not 1,000,000s of people at risk. There are people who died because of Cummings. I don’t care about press parked outside his house, frankly if he had been lynched I would not have shed a tear. These students put a few hundred people at risk and what they did was stupid in the extreme but not contemptuous for society like Cummings. I am brought up that you lead from the front.

this is why  covid 19 will never go away.

This is my view. I am also a pragmatist as to what young people who can catch but who won’t be touched by Covid are likely to do through this.

They are away from their families, they are on campus and circulating only amongst themselves and it strikes me that we should treat them as being a big Chicken Pox party. It’s a giant step to some form of herd immunity and we could have been through the other side of it now ie 1 month on and they all having it.

Vilifying kids / teenagers for being kids / teenagers isn’t the person I ever wanted to become.

I agree on that part - having a 17 yr old and a 15 yr old. The eldest isn't keen on Uni - but wants to go into a medical based field around animals but not as a Vet - animal Psychology which unfortunately is really a university based course in this day and age and would more than likely be facing many peers competing for jobs afterwards. All for what - to have a massive debt (I know it isn't quite the same) - this was brought in by labour but has been supported by successive governments as a way to keep the young off the unemployment register and benefits while getting them (and their parents) to pay for the pleasure 😞

bring back the colleges and all the flavours of them. Anyway - taking it off track a little bit
