Latest plan to stop the boats.

What's everyone's thoughts on Suela Bravemans latest plan to stop the migrant invasion?

My thoughts are we first need somewhere to send them back and knowing our current crop of spineless politicians it's unlikely they'll return them to France, so hopefully Rwanda will take them?

Problem two is the law, I've no doubt any plan to remove them and ban illegal immigrants from returning here will be blocked by all sorts of care bears and 'concerned' lawyers who just so happen to make a fortune from defence of the boat people.

I'm hoping common sense will prevail and the human rights act will be abolished/amended and the European Court supremacy will be booted out, as it should have been when the UK voted to leave the EU. But I'm not holding my breath.

They simply don't learn. It reminds me of a Russian army assault, they just keep banging on whatever the costs. It's another Windrush in the making.

They should go away and put in place a legal process and route to travel first.

Woke (educated) Civil Servants will be telling them the same.

Just same old same old............get rid of the EU'version of the ECHR's.....much of the base of the ECHR's harp back and were conceived in 1951....we have moved on ..it hasnt

think on this there are (rough guess 100 million) displaced ...unhappy..skint...criminal.....terrorist.....people out there..............and you know what..?....i rekon 80-90% of them want to head to Britian....my country

if we...the people we elect, dont man up and do something.....my, our British society will be ripped apart.....all our loves and all our hopes and all our dreams and all our hobbies...will go down the sewer ...we will become (something that is already happening)  3rd class citizens in OUR own country

think on that

gone to far now ,there is no getting out of this .

with the constant loop of spineless ,nose in the trough ,woke ,tree hugging clowns that we have in power its going to carry on .

As with most gov issues its easier to do nothing and kick it into the long grass cos at the end of the month you still get yer fat cheque.

On the news tonight one migrant; 'I would rather be in prison in the UK than free in France'

That's actually rather sad, I do feel for many of these people coming over, who's only real wrong is being born in the wrong country. That said, it's not the UK's working populations responsibility to pay for all the world's wrongs and I feel sorry for them first and foremost.

👍 this. The situation is well out of control but the gov'ts response is barking up the wrong tree in an effort to buy votes.

Stop the free hotels/accommodation and cash and the boats will stop themselves, thousands of men barely any women children are not seeking anything more than an easy ride

seeking asylum through the proper channels is a lot more than turning up on a beach

^This 💯%.

These people need to go back and fight for the freedoms they want, just like our ancestors had to.

Freedom isn't free, no there's a hefty ******* fee.

That's strange, I thought all these EU countries were doing much better than us 😂 Doesn't the EU HAVE to look after them the same as we do?

What's wrong with France, for your average male fighting age economic migrant, all rather odd really?

Rather than spend £40k a year to keep them in jail, or £60k a year to put them in a hotel, why don't we bung them £20k and drop them back off in France? Obviously taking their fingerprints and DNA first, and getting them to sign a contract that they'll never come back?

Obviously by accepting the bung, they have shown that they aren't 'fleeing' anything worthy of asylum.

i look at the news regular like...and i see these girls  lady's   women....in Iran demonstrating for their rights as a human being....knowing full well they risk ...arrest... imprisonment.......being beaten......rape...torture....murder...and now being gassed ............

and they still fight on knowing the danger they are in..............i think they are wonderful....brave....

to change the regime alot more like this will need to happen....and when they have won ......do you think they will be welcoming skallywags in to their country they have fought and died and suffered to put right.............freebooters....

i think not.............they like us will put their / our hand out to those who are in extreme danger............cause they realise how precious and rare....freedom ..true freedom is..

but there is a cut off point

I'm sorry but you, and a lot of the other older guys (60+) who are either; winding people up (for a laugh, or for political reasons), dumb*** stupid or can't use the search engines to find alternative views should just stop posting. 100 million and 80-90 M heading here, you're having a giraffe, dumb*** stupid or can't search the Internet. One thing to remember is that it isn't your country, its ours

What about the present generation? I fought for this country and I'm not alone on this forum. How dare you put words in others mouths!

you must be havin a giraffe  (is that a naval term ?).....you are constantly bitching at folk for gleaning infomation using various search engines and internet sources...and now you are bitching for not using those sources................

i would ask you to check yours....and ours...............both are mentioned in my post

wind yer neck in and chill out...

Absolutely right

Tough and heartless I agree

But NOT MY PROBLEM. NOT MY FAMILIES PROBLEM. We don't want to pay for you to come here and live off us.

We have our own problems. If we could we would but we haven't got the ability to help you at the moment so  ffff off back to where you came from and sort it out there
