gmm243
I saw Guns N Roses in Slane in '92 ( or possibly '94). Anyway it was a long time ago and Axl Rose was a class act in those days. Sadly time has taken its toll and I thought it a shame that at Glastonbury he was far from my memory of him, it will be the memory a lot of young folk remember him by and not what he was like in his heyday. The Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and similar were all sounds of my 80's childhood so I have a soft spot for them all. Don't forget Karen Carpenter-in my mind one of the finest voices of all time. martinj
Neil Young? brilliant musician, I've followed him all my life, from my teens to 72 and counting. A bit of an **** (rhymes with glass) at times and not everything was good but he's written more classics than most.
