fortune
30, Eley Grand Prix 1-1/16 load. It worked well for years.
rimfire4969
I don't mind either, not that it helps you. In an ideal world I use a 32 gram load when roost shooting and high pheasant and a 30 gram when decoying and at our syndicate shoot. I only ever use a fibre wad. A question off the subject but while I think of it. Is there any steel shot, fibre wad in the pipeline or possible?
sitsinhedges
30 is plenty for most applications, I'd be happy with 28grams to be honest.

oowee
If you dont shoot often or are heavier build then 32 is good If you can shoot and shoot often, and like to keep trim then 30 is more than enough. Tin hat at the ready
kiffy
im currently using 30/6 but prefer 32/6 just to haver that few more pellets so more chance of me and my north eye hitting a bird on a separate note, anyone in south wales area stocking your carts yet? bluesj
If i was in a shop buying and had a choice I would go for 32g but as most places round here its 30g or nothing i mostly use

fortune
It depends on the target market for these carts. I use 30 in my lightweight SbS's for decoying, walked up and driven. if they are fibre then this is where most are used if it is clays then I use the heavier O/U with plastic. 6&7 for most 5 for sitters and roost. 32 used to be for a bit more out there. but 30 was the norm. Eley made zillions of Grand Prix in 1-1/
dodeer
I'd be happy with 28/30g.
