walshie
A victory for the non-PC brigade. Hopefully others will realise you can say what you mean rather than what you are expected to say.
lord_seagrave
This is our version of the 'Arab spring' the disenfranchised and disaffected know that there are others who think the same way because of social media and that gives them confidence and courage to vote, to believe there is an alternative. Lloyd90
Just woke up as I hit the sack around 4am! I guess the voice of the people is a powerful one after all. Lets home his claim that the UK would be front of the line for trade deals holds true as post Brexit this is great news!
matone
Another nail in the coffin of the PC brigade ! People are sick of their meally mouthed ,nicey, nicey rubbish and want to be able to speak freely again. Well done Trump and Farage !!!! Extreme circumstances create extreme and unexpected results. grrclark
Anyone else notice how twitchy the Secret Service guys accompanying Trump looked when he was meeting the crowd? They are going to have their work cut out for them. I thought that whoever won we may well see another presidential assassination. I wonder how easily The Donald will sleep. Lloyd90
Anyone got ant plans for converting garage into a nuclear bunker ? Wasn't it Clinton who was highly likely to get into several Wars ? 🙄
grrclark
Anyone got ant plans for converting garage into a nuclear bunker ? I believe that we are safer from the need of such a thing now. I suspect that we will start to see a different relationship with Russia. Trump's motivation is different. The US and Russia will never be bedfellows, but I don't think we will see the same level of political brinksmanship.
Thunderbird
Anyone else notice how twitchy the Secret Service guys accompanying Trump looked when he was meeting the crowd? They are going to have their work cut out for them. Yes, and did you also notice how nervously he thanked them, he may as well have mouthed, "and please don't shoot me!" Velocette
I sincerely hope he refers to Nigels retort to the EU Council when the Leave campaign won. figgy
He has 248 at the moment! Now 258 That result of won with 276 i posted was taken from the live election website, the others were all much more lagging in updating their results. Bit of an upset for the American old guard. Paul1440
The only ones I hope are not sleeping well are those that caused the economical meltdown who went unpunished and are still raking it in while schools, services and everyone else pays for their greed. Farage is an anarchist..He has no plan. But I guess that every now and again we need some anarchy to check those and systems that get too comfortable and set the gravey train up for themselves. Trump may be the same but at least he won'y be scared of questioning the establishment. On the point about campaign funding. I heared that he self funded. four-wheel-drive
Wow, lets he hope he goes after Clinton and puts her in jail as he first job. I second that I was dreading putting the TV on this morning expecting to see Clinton all over the place and then they said that TRUMP had done it I think that he will do a good job. sportsbob
Thinking to myself that the Cities and Towns of the UK that voted to stay in the EU were coincidentally the ones with the highest percentage of immigrants I had a look at the data for immigration in the USA and guess what ? almost identical. So worldwide are the people that developed the civilised world as we now know it getting a little fed up with the whinging lefties and less developed wanting some of our cake. Oh what is that I hear but we only want a better life and some of your wealth, well it is becoming quite possible that they might just have to go home and earn their own. sportsbob
I see also that Vladimir Putin seems to be pleased with the results in the USA, so does this mean that Putin Trump and Farage all want essentially to keep control of their own countries. KFC
He understands trade with Russia and China rather than imperial dominance and he also understands the proxy fighting over oil in the middle east so, I doubt WW3 can be averted now but we've got a slim chance. With Clinton we'd have no chance. There's loads of good interviews with Trump on the tube. and this http://news.sky.com/story/inequality-globalisation-and-why-donald-trump-won-10650848 Edited November 9, 2016 by KFC
