scobydog
Hi All, Just been rotavating the veg garden with a little Wolsley merry tiller that I have and it made me think that it must be one of the most time saving tools/machines I have, despite having lots of other stuff I think this one ultimately saves me the most time as well as saving my back into the bargain. So what is your favourite non shooting gadget and why ?. Scobydog Edited February 16, 2017 by scobydog

Gordon R
1/4" finger ratchet, made by SK in the USA. Lot easier to use than ratchet or breaker bar. I have had it for about 20 years and it is still mint. Used it hundreds of times.
grrclark
The Fein Multimaster oscillating multi tool, now with loads of other makes at different price points, but the Fein was the original and best. It must be said though that at any particular point in time the favourite tool or gadget is the one that makes the job the easiest.
old'un
power washer..................its the best thing for sweeping leaves up in the autumn........blasts the gutters out.....washes out engine blocks.......cleans the slabs......cuts the grass on the edge of the paths.....cleans all the mud off the landy chassis.......cleans the rugs in the summer........cleans the doormats....cleans the mowers....and strimmmers,......... ....the list goes on... You seem to use your pressure washer for most things but! A word of warning do not use it to shower with, you will get skin burns.

Hamster
power washer..................its the best thing for sweeping leaves up in the autumn........blasts the gutters out.....washes out engine blocks.......cleans the slabs......cuts the grass on the edge of the paths.....cleans all the mud off the landy chassis.......cleans the rugs in the summer........cleans the doormats....cleans the mowers....and strimmmers,......... ....the list goes on... I have to agree the power washer is very useful but for blowing off leaves and general debris including those fairly ingrained and stuck around the edges a leaf blower/sucker is unbelievable at times. I find it makes the job incredibly easy, mine even has the power to blow the loose pebbles back into where they belong and "head up" your borders a treat. mick miller
Robox 3D printer. At last I can realise my ideas. Desktop vac former is next on the list.
KFC
I have a knot tying tool for fly fishing that I love. It holds the fly in a magnetic groove so that I can feed the leader through the eye of the hook then tie a tucked cinch knot. Invaluable now my eyes ain't so good without glasses. AVB
Flat head Screwdriver. You can undo screws, use it as a sort of hammer, chisel things, lever things, stab things etc. Edited February 16, 2017 by AVB
Scully
Hammer. You don't need anything else. As the saying goes 'if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem becomes a nail'. Mine are my pencils and brushes, and my drawing pens. Apart from them my flat bars are great to use. Quite sad really.
