Mungler
Ah the Revenant; what a dreadful slog that was. Tarantinos last one, I didn't make it to the end even on fast forward.
clakk
Rouge 1 a star flaws borey ,Iron man 3 a sequel beyond drivel ,and Doom a film of a computer game filmed using wooden people called "the Rock" and that,s how he moved around in this farce
Danger-Mouse
Suicide Squad. It had so much potential but ended up with a terrible script and an even worse edit. Jared Lato's take on The Joker sucked. Margot Robbie was brilliant as Harley Quin, and looked fantastic in those shorts, but that wasn't enough to save the movie. Mad Max, the remake. I managed to watch 15-20 minutes of it before turning it off.

Zapp
Deadpool is the most recent one for me. I know a lot of people loved it but if you aren't into superheroes the references and in jokes are flat, and the main character becomes deeply irritating within minutes. Flashman
I paid far too much to see The Hateful Eight in extended widescreen in the West End - and left during the intermission. I watched both High Rise and The Lobster recently: can't decide which was worse, there's not much between them. However, I like Up.
Dave-G
Ah the Revenant; what a dreadful slog that was. Tarantinos last one, I didn't make it to the end even on fast forward. That was remarkably disappointing - just shows how hype can get people in to spend some money.
Fatcatsplat
The Revenant and The Hateful Eight - Fully agreed, but Up's a great movie. I tend to avoid Hollywood films and go for the independents or a bit of World Cinema - They spend a bit more money on a script and story and don't keep rehashing the same old films time and time again. ferguson_tom
Recently, la-la-land, before that, The Kings Speech, even earlier, Girl with the Pearl Earring. The girl with the Pearl Necklace was alright but the characters were a bit unbelievable. Another vote for the Reverent I was really looking forward to it, 40 mins in turned it off out of boredom. Up is a great film! Edited March 29, 2017 by ferguson_tom
