Housing "Refugees" / Economic Migrants - looking for a BETTER Life

Well, now that it has been announced that these illegal immigrants will be housed in ex military sites or old ferry's.

Is it any wonder nobody in the locality actually want them?

MP's and Councils are going to the High Court to get injunctions put in place.

Not my favoured solution, would be far better to stop them coming here.

But  why are  they "  really "  coming here  .????

What sort  of Jobs will they  get  ( if  they ever  want one in the first  place)

Do they realise  how  much you would have  to earn  to be able  to live in this  country .

They can live  so long  in a hotel or other  accommodation, but  how  long can we  keep them . How  soon before they got board  , and started   fighting  and looting .

Germany  as I understand  has  deported   thousands  I belive  .

The more  that come here  , will. Just end up making it like  the places they have let  , they will end up not  getting  any better life and fighting  with each other .

So I honestly  belive  they are  coming to take  over  , to out breed  us  .

They will not gain anything , because  they will become to many .

Meanwhile  we have to suffer them .

They housed them in military sites in the past, the locals complained, the inhabitants complained, here are some pics from Penally camp near Tenby in South Wales that i took, this was at about 1 am.
In the end they were moved out. i spoke to some of the refugees, they were just normal people wanting a better life.

There should be no immigration for the simple fact that there are far too many of us here already. Our islands are significantly overpopulated, not enough housing and not enough land to grow our own food. As unpleasant as it is all migration should be halted by whatever means necessary

Forty years ago two Muslim lads told me that the plan was to take over the country by outbreeding us until they were the majority.
I have no reason to think that they were joking.

There is a big hotel in Newquay right on the front called the Beresford.  It's now been taken over to house the migrants

The real moans are coming from the local businesses who have seen a drop in trade compared to if the the hotel was full of tourists.

The migrants don't eat in the restaurants, they don't buy touristy things in the shops, they don't use the taxis or rent surfboards.

The impact is real, its not racist zenophobic English people saying things because they are intolerant. It's shops and businesses that have had the worst three years imaginable. They are now facing escalating electricity and gas bills as well as interest rates on their loans

They really need the tourists and their money to start climbing back out of the hole

On question time last night there was only one person in the whole audience that supported the governments actions and even he said that it wouldnt work due to the existing backlogs,   overwhelmingly the concensus was  to allow those seeking to live in the u.k to be able to work and become economically active and thus able to pay their way whilst applications are processed,

There are over  1,000,000 vacancies that employers cannot fill in the u.k at the moment, even government agencys do not have the staff to to what we pay them to do,

Call any company and you get the 'we are experiencing a higher level of calls than usual' message as the truth is there are not enough staff to answer the phone,

It can only get worse until the great british public realise that either they have to get off their ***** and benefits to do the jobs that previously hard working first generation immigrants did or to allow people to come here to do the work.

There has never been such a prime example of a nation collectively cutting off its nose to spite its face.

The problem is, those people who should be doing these job are getting paid to simply stay at home, why would they go to work 5 days a week and probably be worse off, when for the last two or three generations they have happily sat at home and had everything paid for, where is the incentive??

True, and how many of those "seeking to live in the UK" would actually want to "work and become economically active" when they seem to be entitled to the same benefits regime (or better) as the locals?

What do you do for a living? Are you likely to see your wages stagnate or drop with the arrival of tens of thousands of low skilled workers? Or is that just for the already poorest in society to put up with?

There would be no net economic benefit of allowing them to work. By the time the social costs are factored in we are still worse off.

But if you fancy housing a few and providing work for them then fill your boots.

How many of those 1,000,000 vacancies are able to be immediately filled by someone who has little or zero English speaking skills, is likely illiterate, has no previous education of any kind and no real skill base or prior training?

It's not as simple as being assigned an NI number and then being placed into a job.

Very few of those 1,000,000 jobs will be skill-less manual labour positions.

Almost none of those arriving will be genuine asylum seekers with an education and something to give. They will almost all be economic migrants with the issues described above.

A lot of those 1,000,000 jobs will those that require a level of skill or training that the employers simply aren't prepared to pay for so the job remains unfilled. Importing a mass of people from the third world is not the answer to that problem.

That tells you how the BBC pick their QT audience more than anything else.

The trouble is that most of the migrants don't have the workplace skills to ever get jobs that would pay enough to support themselves in the real world of employment.

It's a nieve pipe dream to think otherwise.

We have a skills shortage but migrants are not the answer and neither are the long term, third generation, unemployed.

The backlog is due to the Civil Service deliberately appearing to want to sabotage the Government's plans. They are a big part of the problem
