Disgusting. BASC members pay a maximum of £60 (I paid £25 last year) and MEDCERT charge (I think) £60.

Fellside
Just point out that if you pay Medicert £60 your practice will have to do it for free!! They probably don’t know and make up a silly number to try it on. In other words market forces dictate a £60 maximum.

BASC recommend ShootCert and it just cost me more than that (want to say £75), plus about £10 postage so I could send my docs to them. Very efficient - two days after receiving my notes they emailed me their confirmation.

miki
Medcert (or BASC) are fine. Don't let Doctors rip you off. If you have another local Doctor you can move to them which costs the Doc you just left around £175 ..... It will cost them a lot more in time and paperwork if you let a third party complete your form and a helloffa lot more if you leave.
