Genghis
1 hour ago, Weihrauch17 said: From what I have read he came into the Masterchef studio naked with just a sock on his bits, bragged about his sex life and simulated a sex act with a woman staff member who had knelt down to clean his pants on set. It may or may not be true but if it is he is a bit daft in this woke day and age. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14137559/Gregg-Wallace-allegations-naked-MasterChef-studio.html If the blurb about walking around with just a sock on his bits is true, then that is inappropriate behaviour that would get you fired from nearly any workplace past or present. The question that should be asked of anyone here is if he did that in front of your wife/daughter then would you be happy about it. If the answer is no then it’s obviously unacceptable for a workplace. Don’t think that’s exactly ‘woke’.

Mungler
He’s of a certain age, off a fruit and veg market and has a good handful of ex wives - he’s not going to be the best fit for a modern DEI lead workplace like the BBC. Could I care any less though? No, not really - no allegation of any physical contact and what he’s been accused of could have been dealt with by him just being laughed at - ‘look at daft old baldy, he thinks he’s got something we might want, how funny’. TIGHTCHOKE
It appears that the BBC had complaints from 20 people about Mr Wallace and his incorrect behaviour, even Rod Stewart is on the warpath. It is being labeled as the latest BBC Sex Scandal in some places. I doubt he will return, probably start writing books and maybe even a tour giving chats to those that will pay for his time. At least I can remember when we had humor 😅😅

Pushandpull
It appears from the information on the BBC News site that he was the "star" while the people who had to put up with his behaviour were junior freelancers, mostly young women. "Just banter" = every bully's get out line.
London Best
I know a chap who once removed his trunks underwater and swam naked across a pool. He grabbed one of his shoes which he had left on the opposite edge, put it over his bits and walked off saying, “I’ve always wanted a foot!” Didn’t seem to offend anybody. mel b3
I'm mainly surprised that he got a job like that in the first place . He's one of the most talentless , and unfunny, people that I've ever seen on tv. The only person that finds gregg Wallace funny , is gregg Wallace. My wife watches all the versions, but I have noticed a certain froideur and odd body language between Torode and Wallace. I wonder if Wallace was inappropriate with Torode's missus, a former contestant?

retromlc
I'm surprised it's not for bullying, he comes across that he could be. There's always smutty chat in the workplace, ours is no different, but if some if the things he's supposed to have done then he's an idiot and deserves it, the world is over-woke, but there has always been a line not to be crossed

Wouldnt be surprised if this isnt the problem, being a super star would immediately make him witty and the centre of attention, unfortunately [as said] he is the only one that thought so
old'un
I worked in a butchers up till I was 15, some of the comments from some of the women were very Carry-on/Benny Hill type innuendos, made me blush.
