Bouncy, but you may arrive early. 5 hours ago, mel b3 said: I'm laying in a tiny caravan in mid Wales, and things are a little bit tense to say the least. I really don't think this little caravan can take much more. Are you there to stop it blowing away, or are you quite mad?

My thinking was , if it was a week day , I'd be at work , and it would just be business as usual ( ive worked in these weather conditions a few times over the years) , but now that I'm sitting in a caravan, being buffeted by 90mph winds , I'm thinking I might have been better to have stayed at home 😄. I'm impressed ( totally shocked), that the new corrugated tin roof is still on , but I really don't think that it can take much more. To be honest , we both enjoy a bit of an adventure 😁. Keith RW
Absolutely flat calm here in Rotherham, not joking, bit of damp but no wind and no rain despite forecast saying gusts and 70% to 80% chance of rain. one of todays local shoots cancelled due to forecast but looks like it could have gone ahead, I suspect it may work its way over this side of the country later in the day
Minky
Well; we're still in one pieced life goes on in the tropical south... Kent.. The hardy are still taking the dogs out for the morning patrol. I put the spaniel out in the back garden and there was an almighty gust of wind that had been reversed by the house and garage and nearly laid the lawn grass flat. The spaniel was nearly blown over, the ears flattened on the back of her head. The poor dog was really stoked by the blast almost being blown over. The parish magazines have just been delivered and the Mrs says that she's off round the cut de sac delivering them. that's if they don't get blown away. I'd leave them until tomorrow. nothing seems to have been blown away so I think that I'll be doing not a lot today. There's the decorations to put up and I'm on the computer transferring thousands of files from one ssd to another. at least the power hasn't gone off,,, yet. when we had the last storm the power dimmed a few times but we're still here. Last night it was monsoon horizontal rain in a tropical storm. This morning it was bright sunshine and the road was dry but the wind! I prey that no one gets hurt.
