Danger-Mouse
Following on from the various movies threads of late . . . What are your favourite cult classics? In no particular order my top 10 are; The Breakfast Club The Blues Brothers Reservoir Dogs An American Werewolf in London Highlander The Princess Bride Rounders Tremors Pulp Fiction Preaching To The Perverted There are loads of other cult movies that I like but these are the ones I`ve watched many times (in some cases so much that I can quote large chunks of dialogue) and I would happily watch again. The Mighty Prawn
But now we open the can of worms of what is a cult classic? Having recently argued with someone this very point I remain loyal to the idea that a cult classic is one that had a theatrical release which did not do much business, didn't do much awards wise, yet over time won a following based largely on word of mouth recommendations
