lord_seagrave
Yup, can't argue with that. A good innings, and he lived a prety charmed life for most of it. Fair play Sir Rodge LS

getthegat
What a shame. What a very British gentleman. Never took anything for granted and did much more than his fair share as UNICEF ambassador. His book is a real good read. Loved him and every movie and TV series he was in. Ivanhoe and The Saint were staples for my family growing up. RIP Sir Roger

four-wheel-drive
I tend to think that it is much better to die while you are still reasonably mobile and you mind is still working properly.

buze
Roger Moore was probably my first view of an English Gentleman, when I was a kid in france. I always though he looked/acted awesome, and to be fair, I always try to channel *that* when I dress up for a shoot now. I think he'll live on thru that more than the Bond films -- he claimed he wasn't a very good bond, that the newer ones are 'better' but I think Moore was /the/ bond for the times, as was Brossman was just *the* bond for his era, and Craig now is for the modern age... And yes, lucky him, long, fruitful life and a ripe old age to go. I wish us all the same!
kyska
yeh he was was good actor rip saint Funny thing is, on the BBC he's said he wasn't a good actor, shallow, but had a great time. I've got to agree, he wasn't great, but did great things, I bet he had a ball in life. I also reckon he nailed a fair few Bond girls for real. Good old boy.
