loriusgarrulus
https://www.autoblog.com/amp/2017/08/17/land-rover-defender-might-come-to-america-in-2019-unibody/ I think this looks more like the BMW Mini clubman than a Defender. What a disappointment.

loriusgarrulus
I would sooner they drop the Defender name than put it on something like that. What a travesty of an iconic vehicle.

saddler
Bang on trend for the MINI customer base - both here & the US = urban, urbane, inner city metro-sexual gender fluid poseurs with a preference for style over substance. It'll sell like bags of chips at a fat lasses convention
loriusgarrulus
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocelot_(vehicle) This is possibly the main contender for land rover replacement in the army.
saddler
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocelot_(vehicle) This is possibly the main contender for land rover replacement in the army. £923,000 each Not too dissimilar to the SADF type of vehicles that they developed decades ago during sanctions against them that stopped them buying in military kit. We'd save a fortune buying FROM the SADF!!

termin8r
Looks a bit like the Evoque - and that looks like a Real Range Rover that was rescued from the car crusher at half-cycle. Is there a shortage of window glass, or are these vehicles just being designed for short-harrises who don't need any headroom?
