The original looking back is camper then broke back mountain. Went to the cinema to see it with lads from school and we being northern all said it was OK until the poofs took the shirts off 😂😂

Blimey charlie!. Are you George Whitbread?!. You might want an edit on that post. Film looks good though.

I have seen the original over 90 times, when on a tour to Gibraltar it was the only tape someone brought and it was slammed on after work every day , i was in a bunk directly opposite, couldn't help but see it, my mate in the top bunk could recite it word for word.

Anyway isn't cruise a bit old to be a fighter pilot.

Hmmmmm.....F14 just seems a lot cooler than a F35 I hope they haven't replaced the GPZ whith something bland as well.

Will the You've lost that Lovin Feelin song be back in a LGBT+ format obviously not for Washerboy.

F35s have flown over me every day this week,  4 together last week,  serious bit of kit

When the plane in the clip goes to afterburner would it really go away that fast or is it artistic licence?

Yep....my daughter lives at end of the runway where they build  Typhoons

an awesome  sight when they let the cluch  out.....and when you see them all "tooled up" it's something else

My dad had a video clip of an old Electric lightning iirc in full burn after take off going vertical. That thing disappeared faster than anything I can remember. The G’s must have been amazing doing that!

I saw that at RAF Valley with what i think was two Tomcats whilst I stood at the end of the runway.

It was a product of its day, along similar lines as films such as An Officer and a Gentleman and Days of Thunder, built on a soundtrack of pop and rock, and instantly dated as such when viewing.
They’ll never be classed as Hollywood greats but have a cult following amongst women of a certain age. There are many more examples.
