Terrorist attack - Germany.

A car has driven through barriers and into a Christmas market killing 11 and injurying north of 80, so far.

This will be far reaching for Germany.

At least two dead and 68 injured according to BBC news. No mention of a bomb unless I’ve missed it. Awful.

A possible bomb was mentioned in some reports last night. Nothing was found in the car.

The German Police are presuming he was working alone.

A Saudi Arabian Doctor with full residency status (2016) who had been in the country since 2006.

What used to called a "sleeper" in my day.

Absolutely shocking, thankfully the death rate was not far higher.

Another awful event from a 'hidden' attacker. All Xmas markets there are protected with concrete barriers, after the previous attack the other year when 12 died. Unfortunately, there was a car-width gap in these barriers where he got through.

Shocking but unstoppable, but also preventable re barrier placement ?

If that's the case that is plain negligence, I mean why on earth would you leave a cars width when the barriers are there to stop vehicles.

I'm not saying anyone should be singled out and blamed for this. Probably just an oversight or the gap left for a particular reason. Regretful for sure, but no witch hunt.
