marsh man
After my usual taking my dog down to the river , the rest of the morning I was pottering about in the garden enjoying the lovely weather , then I went indoors as my wife had done a cuppa and a sandwich , yes you have guessed it , the wedding was on . I must admit the small bit I watched wasn't to bad as I think Harry is a bit of a Jack the lad , then that American chap came on rabbiting on like Billy Graham , after a couple of minutes the boredom had set in and it was time to check out the Pea fields . So did you see any of it , and if you did , what did you think of it ?

marsh man
Surely I wasn't the only P W member who wasted half an hour of my retirement watching a wedding which had a few more people going to the reception than my own ............. well , its looking like I was the only one
bumpy22
No not a minute of it. Was on the beach in tenby. To be fair I think it may be repeated once or twice
Mice!
just watched half an hour with my daughter before bed, supposed to be highlights but well? They drove off in a lovely old Jag, Megan looked tidy, Harry had kept his beard, lots of very pc choir singing, some waffling about something? You could play spot the celeb as cameras panned around. There i have saved you from not knowing or watching the highlights, I have another half hour to watch tomorrow, school homework was watch the wedding. Jaymo
I watched it. Am down looking after my folks as father has the dreaded Alzheimer’s and mum who normally looks after him fell and bust both her arm and hip the other week. After a hip replacement she finally came home last Thursday so having so much time with them I couldn’t avoid watching it- and to be honest I would have watch it anyway. Thought it was great for them both, and I peed myself when the ‘Preacher’ started up- loved some of the eye rolling from those in attendance..... amateur
I watched it with my wife and our youngest grand-daughters (aged 3 and 5), the children wearing coronets and waving flags. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

grrclark
For a part of the day there was a big telly showing coverage of the whole thing where I was and I had the occasional glance, so I guess as qualifying as watching some of it. We do pomp and pageantry very well in this country and the global interest in the wedding is massive, i guess much of the apathy in GB shows how much we take for granted what so many elsewhere in the world envy and admire. They looked happy and I hope they are.
loriusgarrulus
Was painting an ibc black with rib paint before lunch. Logged on to have a look at the photos this afternoon. Liked the wedding dress and some of the ladies outfits.
