nedrider
To be honest it's a slow process you have had quite a lot done, it took me about a year to get back to work and feel ok again, but what a difference it made, may I wish you all the best . Scully
My Dad had the quadruple version back in about 1994 well into his sixties. It made a vast improvement to his life but took a while to recover. Well worth doing and I wish you well.

Lord Geordie
Dad was booked in for a quad, couldn’t get to the one behind the heart safely! So ended up a triple. His quality of life changed once he had recuperated! For the first few month the cushion pulled tight to the chest to cough was agony for him as was a lot of certain upper body movement. But once he recovered he was out in the garden and pottering in again! He has recently had a hip done and in recovery for that, and had to have cataracts done and this last week an op on his eye lid as it was turning in and scratching his eye. Wishing you a speedy recovery

figgy
Don't worry about how you feel now. You couldn't stay the way you were so it should all be good from now. Good luck with a speedy recovery.

Blackbriar
The recovery is long but the benefits immense ! Give it time, do your physio and generally take care of yourself - baby steps ! I was lucky to escape with a couple of stents, so I wish you well !

Retsdon
One of the lads I work with had a triple bypass about two years ago, and he told me that it took him a good few months before he felt close to normal again. But on the bright side, I just passed him an hour ago out on his evening run. He's fit as a flea these days. Hang in there!
Sundodger
Hi Samboy I hope things have improved a little since your last post. I am waiting to have my blood pump done, it looks like it will be a triple, Question :- once it is all done and healed up, how long will it be before you can go shooting again. best regards Edited February 8, 2019 by Sundodger Missed some words
bruno22rf
One day at a time Sir, the anaesthetic alone can hang around for ages. Each day you should start to feel a little stronger and the improvement can be so minor that you don't notice it but if you take care and don't try and rush things you will get there. Best of luck.
