Probably the reason for the 3 week lockdown,  if it's a two week wait for the virus to show and there are millions walking around not knowing they have it, spreading it around.

So by the end of three weeks loads could be at home with the virus, add another three weeks and hopefully the cycle gets broken or interrupted?

Wishful thinking I know.

Gona get worse before it's get better! Wait till the body count gets much higher over the next few days! More will take it seriously! It will put any petty squabbling on here into perspective!  It's out there most gona get it! That's Nature! Just got to do what we can to help the NHS deal with it! More testing needed Boris!      NB

I saw corbyn has been using the governments spending boost to say that he was right and people should have voted for him instead. Wish he would play that good old childhood game of hide and go f..k yourself. Wasn't he supposed to have frigged off to the backbenchers already?

Because in his warped mind, the virus is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the emergency measures in place. The Government was just being stingy before

So he got the result at midnight

exhibited mild symptoms so medical officer advised he got tested

test must have been done before midnight....BUT when?

and where was he/what was he dong between "exhibiting mild symptoms" and being diagnosed?

how long did the results take?......because if it can be done that quick why can't the NHS workers be tested as quickly?.....subject to availability of test kits

Just curious about the time line

just heard a batch of test kits had to be sent back to China as they were faulty

The problem is you can probably rush one test result through. You can't rush hundreds or thousands through.

So why do you rush that doctor's through but not this doctor? why that nurse but not this nurse and so on and so on. They're all doing the same job, in the same impossible circumstances. so it's impossible to say why one doctor's test should be expedited over another; it's just a drop in the ocean compared to the thousands who could claim it.

However, being the leader of the country pretty much beats everything. He's the head of the decision making process, so is probably worth that one expedited test. Given the gravity of the situation, the health of the government figurhead is important.

For ***** sake stop moaning everyone. Nothing is going to work efficiently or properly in case you haven’t heard there is a corona virus pandemic and key people even the PM have gone down with it. Probably the biggest national emergency in our lifetimes! We all have to pull together and do the best we can.

“The end justifies the means” this is what Corbin and these hard left, trot, extremists believe......they have no scruples, don’t care about ordinary people and would sell out their grandmothers, to get into power!

He is a sick individual, along with his party chairman. They are beneath contempt.

Yes yes and of course yes but we must test the health workers too and we are not currently doing so.

My daughter says they are discharging patients before they are diagnosed. Anyone in the at risk group gets a test as a matter of course. Test is only 60% accurate.

Really? Do you have a source? There seems little point on a test that is only marginally better than a coin toss.
