yates
None seen in sunny Rotherham as yet. But then again they may have been caught and eaten by certain members of the community by now. Some coots and moorhens were found to have been killed and cooked earlier in the week

old man
Nothing here yet. Sadly a huge decline in numbers of all 3 species over the last years. Down to one pair of swifts and 2 pairs of swallows last year. About 5 pairs of martins. Pipistrelles gone the same way too.

Steve. Steve, I must admit that you were on form against the pigeons today and it was good to witness some of those cracking shots. Yes, I did spot the swallow before you but I put that down to my lack of concentration on the incoming pigeons. We did however, put the world to rights during the quiet spells. chrisjpainter
Nowt today. And I was outside digging a pond in perfect Hirundinid weather, but saw nothing. House martins nested on our house for the first time in about 25 years last year, so I'm really hoping they return Edited April 7, 2018 by chrisjpainter
