Davyo
As per title, there seems to be an increase in Celebrities promoting online gambling. Particular mainly to TV commercial adverts like the two Paddy Mcginess and Ryan whats his face are on.What are your thoughts on this?Personally i find it wrong, do these people not have enough money? Do these people have any though for the poor soles that may have a gambling problem ?
JTaylor91
There shouldn’t be gambling ads just as there isn’t ads for tobacco and alcohol.

sam triple
Can someone define the word celebrity, because to me every p*ick and his dog that I’ve never seen or heard of these days is a so called celebrity, yes promoting gambling in any form is wrong

Do these people have any though for the poor soles that may have a gambling problem ? It’s just another part of their income I suppose. Agent gives them a call....’ Paddy Power are offering you 85 grand for a couple of 30 second commercials......fancy it?’ I always felt a sense of disappointment when I saw Parky flogging funeral plans on daytime tv. 😃
Gordon R
Parky has redeemed himself - now advertising tea.

GingerCat
Carole voderman especially annoys me with her printing the outrageous loads she does, given her maths abilities she should know better.
figgy
Boddingtons flake advert with Mel goes Phsyco Sykes. I agree gambling adverts should be banned
Scully
Must admit I do find it rather hypocritical to see it’s deemed acceptable to advertise alcohol and gambling when tobacco advertising has been banned.

samboy
I was always under the impression that when these so called celebs careers were fading, ads were the only way for them to get on tv again.

Dave-G
I suspect some adverts are a requirement of sponsorship/contracts.
