I'm not really sure there is anything to 'clarify'?  Someone has to be first.  Maybe the 'others' whoever they are are just a bit 'slower'.

Did a bit of research, just looks like MHRA were just really on the money with this and, of course, able to conclude on the approval without the need for others to concur.

I get why it would be quicker than the EU but quicker than the US or Asian countries such as Singapore? There is a lot of kudos to be gained from being first so just really surprised that others weren’t over this as much as we were. Can’t imagine many countries saying “it’s Friday, let’s pick this up on Monday”

Also it appears the UK Govt was first to sign a deal with the Pfizer ...

If true maybe we got the evidence in advance of everybody else then.

A good result anyway.

Another good result - even if it may end up being somewhat difficult to 'work with' due to the storage temperature

restrictions.

The US can be very bureaucratic and are also very very worried over law suits.  Asian and Singapore, I have no idea, but someone has to be first.

Yes it arrives at minus 70 C and is then moved out to the vaccination sites and kept in ordinary refrigerators.

The main questions when taking any medication.
Are the potential side effects worse than the condition it is trying to cure or control.
What are the risks of taking the vaccine against the risk of catching the disease to me.
What are the risks of taking the vaccine against the risk of catching the disease to others.
For everyone the answers are personal to them.
