Yellow Bear
Had about 40mm on Thursday, froze to powder Friday (below 0 all day), thawing like mad ATM.
TIGHTCHOKE
We had almost an inch overnight. Now raining and all just slush. Nipped out earlier to collect my prescription and everyone is driving as if they are on sheet ice!
henry d
It's been frigid here in central Scotland for 3 weeks or so, small accumulation of snow on top of ice, then a days thaw that made everywhere an ice rink, slowly thawing today. Hills look heavily laden.
JTaylor91
None here, 5 miles down the road though got about 3 inch Thursday. Weird.

Scully
We had a good dumping around a week ago, mostly gone now, which is good as it froze hard, and with no fritters round these parts it was a tad treacherous underfoot. Pup enjoyed it! 🙂

NatureBoy
Little bit of snow and A140 soon blocked in Suffolk. No evidence of grit but they say they done it. NOT! Some interesting pics on news. Lorry jack Knifed. Nothing getting up hills. Including camper vans? One reversing in on coming traffic. Others trying to go round them blocking other carriageway to those coming down hills. Madness! . . . . A single pothole near mine has claimed over a dozen tyres/rims/motors that i know of in just two days. NB

Hello, yes I agree, as a nipper I remember my dad knocking up a wooden sledge to use on the hills at the back of our house in Midhurst, got the shopping up the hill in June lane to, oh happy days
