washerboy
David Beckham makes the news again because he kissed his daughter and it happened to be on the lips.. Omg its not child abuse. What's wrong with media folk making something nasty and sickening out of something sweet and innocent.. Or am I wrong and its not?
kennett
My 4 year old daughter kisses me on the lips by choice "because your face is too spikey". Its very different to how I kiss my wife......

chrisjpainter
3 day story. Nobody really cares; The Sun is just trying to make something of nothing. Who'd have thought. It'll get a bit of press and people will write angry letters because they want to feel like their opinion matters and then it'll be the Semi final, England will win (heard it here first) and we'll all stop hearing about it as we get carried away with the chance to win a World Championships in a sport that doesn't require sitting down to do it. Mice!
Was this yesterday or a while back?? My daughter is about the same age, if she gives you a kiss it's on the lips shock horror, perhaps we should all live in sterile bubbles 🙄

ordnance
At what age does it stop being OK to kiss your daughter on the lips. ?
figgy
My wife watched the game and said she is a right daddy's girl. She will be close to him and a inocent kiss is what you'd expect from loving parents and children.

Don't have a daughter, but if that's how a father/daughter show their affection for one another, fine! A peck on the lips is just that, a peck on the lips!........In my opinion there is no upper age limit! My son 33 still hugs me!...........on occasion!......because that is what we've always done! grrclark
That photo looks like a completely normal and healthy relationship between a wee girl and her dad. You can see he is smiling with affection and love for his bairn and so he should be.

Sorry @ordnance. It reminds me of the photo of the guy in the shower with his child who was suffering a severe bought of salmonella. It captured the unconditional love, dedication and protection of a loving parent but caused a fuss because some odd people saw a naked adult and child in the shower and the first thing they thought of was “sex”. The questions should be directed at the twisted minds that see something sexual.

No need to check your posts, I didn’t mean you specifically saw something sexual, just that others do in similar situations. I just find it a little sad that you saw something which doesn’t “look right”. 👍

Hamster
Beautiful picture. Might have been the rough skin he objected to 😂 but I used to turn my head sideways and refuse a normal kiss from my son till he gave in and straightened up for a lip smacker until he was 3 years old. I also used to hand wash him in the shower till he was double that age, for some reason he never looked clean when he washed himself, wish I could wash him now if I'm honest but he's 21. team tractor
I give my dad a hug every day at work. I’m 37 he’s 67. Always grab his head , ruffle his hair and kiss the top of his head. He’s my dad. He’s not very well and I treat every day with him as a treat . He’s getting older and weaker .
