Was in the same year/class as Chris Donald (Viz magazine), school was on TV and most red top papers for a riot by the girls (St Trinians only really violent), first warship into the Falklands TEZ, first to leave and first to return (1000lb bomb went clean through the ship without exploding), and met a few of the miscreants on here.

Went to school with a minor 80s pop star and dated the cousin of an Eastenders actress.

Filled up Hank Marvin's car with petrol and fitted a sound system into Brian Bennett's car, worked on Adrian Lee's car.

Used to look after a 2.8 Capri that belonged to Princess Anne's bodyguard.

Worked with some one who committed murder.

Got chatted up along with a few mates by the all girl band Girlschool, who were supporting Motorhead. We didn't believe they were actually the support band and turned them down.

Went on to meet and chat to the late great Lemmy.

Met Bill Oddie.

Went to dinner at a footballers house, he'd moved next door to good friends of ours and invited us all round. No idea who he was as I can't stand football, but he played for Arsenal (80's) and he and his wife were very nice.

I once was "involved", shall we say, with one of Idi Amin's daughters in the 1980s. Very interesting as you got the other side to what we get told here in the UK especially with regard to the expulsion of the "Ugandan Asians". Nice girl too. I remember going back for the first time to her flat in Notting Hill and whilst enjoying a coffee asking why she'd a picture of a group of soldiers over her fireplace. "One of them is my father," said she. "Which one?" I asked. "The one sat in the middle," came the reply. And then the penny dropped who "Dad" was. We are on each other's Facebook and, every now and again, yes, exchange a message.

Between 1963 to 1969 I played in two Bristol Groups.

Often we were the support act to well known acts. Theses included the American “Byrds” (Bristol Corn Exchange); Lulu (the British Legion, Coleford Nr Bath) Herman’s Hermits (Fairfax House, Bristol) Wayne Fontana (The Corn Exchange) Dave Dee, Dozey, Mick and Tich (Bath Pavilion); Chickenshack (with Christine Perfect) (Newton St  Loe teacher training college): The Kinks (Sofia Gardens Cardiff).

We also had three appearances on the BBC programme “TOM TOM” (John Earle and Jeremy Carrard). Two programmes were live. One as a backing group to innovations in musical instruments, the second as backing group to innovations in dress fabrics. The third was how to make a record - we did the Beatles “Nowhere Man”. I did contact the BBC to get a copy of the recording. I was told that sadly, at that time, they didn’t realise they were recording history so most tapes were re-used, including ours.

Forgot to mention, I spent a few hours drinking pints and talking about birds, wildlife, shooting ect..in the company of Mr Packhams buddy, lolo William's!

I have to say I found him as sound as a pound and he came across as neither pro or anti shooting. A real down to earth genuine man. A lover of birds but wildfowl wasn't his speciality, as he grew up and lived inland in Wales.

I have been fortunate enough to meet many well known politicians, personalities but my one claim to fame is sharing bodily fluids with Nicole Kidman.

Unfortunately it was on a running machine in Stone in Staffordshire.

What's your claims?

Not sure it qualifies but I shared bodily fluids with a former Miss World contestant.

Grew up with the golfer Sam Torrance - a childhood friend. Had lunch with William Hague, who was far from boring. Quite sharp.

Tanya Tate - who won Pornstar of the Year three times, plus many, many awards - used to work for me.

Met Geoff Capes - smaller than I had thought, Sebastien Coe, before he turned into a ****, at the opening of Saab Manchester.

On a sporting note I have 9 right and lefts at woodcock and one great night where I caught 3 wild lough trout which weighed over 15lb in total.

Other wise I have met Barry McGuigan, a fair few of the Ireland and Ulster rugby players and also the actor that played Alf Stewart in Home & Away. No famous actors or models sadly.
