Don't understand were this "use" thing comes from the gaffers at work "use" it when referring to us about KPIs and stuff.

Two on our shoot have cried off Boxing Day.   Both moved in with there new partners

I could say so much! But having fallen in the same trap in the past I can not pass judgement. Having said that though, eventually ai worked out that life MY way was preferable. If she loves him, she will let him attend! In fact if she loves him, she should INSIST he carries on the tradition.

I have now been married for over 40 years ( to the same woman ) and from day one boxing day have always and always will be , my do as I please day , on that day , shooting comes first above anything else , my wife go round her relations on that day , or they all come round mine and everyone is happy  , all sorted and the household is left in harmony

My motto on day one was , start as you intend to carry on.

Has he actually come out and said she has said "no" or is it just paper talk. Posters on here have said that they made the same decision, but aren't attracting stick.
